How much colder can it actually get? As the gas meter keeps ticking over day and night, Im starting to fear next quarter's bill already! Being a single parent, at home with two kids aged 4 and 5, I have to have my heating on day and night. Sometimes it seems the whole country is suffering from fuel poverty...it comes to something when you have to make a descision whether or not to be warm or eat!
It seems the only people who have happiness during these dreaded cold and dreary winter months are the energy companies.
I feel so demotivated during these winter months...my whole creativity seems to dwindle to just a flicker, whereas during the warmer months my mind is awash with new and aspiring ideas.
Even the boys seem to have lost their spark, all they seem to do is watch film after film under their fleece blankets, I can hardly blame them...
Still....I have a driving lesson booked for tomorrow....and wonder if it will be cancelled due to the icy roads. I'm really Little G feels better by tomorrow morning, he had me quite worried earlier on. As usual when one of the boys are ill, I will sleep terribly....
